On September 27th, Lone Oak Elementary hosted its annual Literacy Night. This year’s event was titled Literacy Luau! The event carried on our school-wide Luau theme this year. Parents and students were invited to take part in many activities. This included fruit kabob making, Literacy Limbo, reading by a waterfall, bookmark making and also visit the Spartanburg Public Library Book Mobile. Families were also given an opportunity to shop at the school’s Scholastic Book Fair.
